Albumul “Revolver”, lansat de The Beatles în 1966, a fost numit de publicaţia Entertainment Weekly cel mai bun album al tuturor timpurilor. Clasamentul, îi mai include în top 10 pe Prince, Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan, dar şi pe Kanye West.
“Revolver” este cel de-al saptelea album al trupei The Beatles, ce include single-urile “Yellow Submarine” şi “Eleanor Rigby”. Lansat în 1966 via Parlophone şi produs de George Martin, albumul a debutat pe prima poziţie în UK Album Chart, dar s-a bucurat de succes şi in America, unde a fost timp numărul unu timp de şase săptămâni.
“Revolver” a primit titlul de “cel mai bun album al tuturor timpurilor” şi din partea altor publicaţii, cum ar fi Q Magazine, VH1 sau Rolling Stones.
